I love to share my knowledge and passion for wildlife and birds in particular, and provide expert-led nature walks around Oxford. Some of my clients – schools, families, companies, and individuals – have very kindly provided testimonials.

I have also taken part in wildlife surveys and other projects in Indonesia, including work with Borneo Nature Foundation and Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. You can read more about these amazing experiences in my blog entries for BNF and for BOSF, and updates on my most recent trip in my personal Blog.

In 2015, I helped to provide the first audio recordings and formal description of the Spectacled Flowerpecker, an undescribed bird species in Indonesia [1].

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German, with a degree in Modern Languages from Aberystwyth University. I also speak Catalan, Indonesian, and Dayak – and I’m always learning more!

I work as a translator, including projects for Médecins Sans Frontières and subtitling for short films. I have most experience translating from French to English and from Spanish to English, and have also worked as an interpreter from Indonesian to English.
